Vikasa Yoga Retreat, Lamai Beach (Koh Samui)

Vikasa offers a unique experience with a rich yoga program and beautiful sea views, but it has some drawbacks. The atmosphere is truly special, and the staff were genuinely welcoming, making my stay enjoyable. However, the accommodation feels dated and could use some renovations, while the noise from the nearby parties can disrupt the tranquil vibe one would expect at a yoga retreat.

Vikasa Yoga Retreat is an incredible destination for those seeking balance and relaxation, perched beautifully by the seaside. The instructors are knowledgeable and create a supportive environment for yoga practice, while the dining experience is exceptional, serving healthy and delicious meals with stunning views. However, the hike up the 160+ steps can be challenging at times, and some facilities may feel basic compared to the luxurious setting.

The yoga sessions were a highlight, held in a serene setting that complemented the relaxation aspect of the stay. While the rooms were comfortable, I found the bed slightly hard for my taste.
